OUR FIRST B Match!

Calling all non-spayed and non-neutered Wheatens that are not finished champions.  The club needs you to participate in an AKC sanction B match. A B match is a practice dog show, no championship points are awarded, but ribbons are awarded and all of the rules of a dog show are observed. It is a great opportunity to practice your handling skills and your dog can get some good experience.  The entry fee is only $5.00 if you register in advance. The club is not permitted to allow dogs that have already completed their championship and we also can’t allow dogs that are spayed or neutered to participate. As you can imagine that doesn’t leave a lot of eligible Wheatens. This is why we are asking every member who has a qualifying wheaten to please participate. We are including a 3-6 month old puppy class.

The Match is Friday November 9, 2012 in Brooksville. This is the day before our annual

dinner which is only 10 minutes from the show. Please plan to attend. We need to hold a total of 4 matches over the next 2 years in order to qualify to become a licensed AKC club.
